“The Secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but building the new.”
— Socrates

Hello! I’m Linda
Thank you for visiting my site! Life is hard! And, it’s complicated! You may be thinking that where you are in life isn’t how you imagined and deep down inside you know that you need a change. You may be tired, overwhelmed, frustrated, and still keep coming up short. I know that it’s not an easy place to be, and sometimes these low points can be where our greatest opportunities for change and growth can occur. I will provide safe space for you to share your story, process your fears, gain some coping tools, and/or explore how your beliefs, unhelpful thinking patterns, and behaviors are keeping you from experiencing a more meaningful life.
My goal is to come alongside of you during this process and help foster insight, awareness, growth, and empowerment toward a place of peace and balance. As an integrative therapist, I draw upon Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Relational, and Interpersonal Therapies. I work with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, loss, self worth, stress, relationship/marital, and LGBTQ+issues.
No matter how big or little your struggle is, I would love to hear your story.

“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom” - Victor Frankl
Guiding Principles
-
Clarity
Self understanding is the first step of seeing our current patterns. We will explore limiting beliefs, negative thinking patterns, and judgments that we hold toward self and others. We will become aware of and examine our feelings and determine what we want to do with them. As we become aware of them, we begin to give them less energy. We will explore new belief systems that are more flexible and in alignment with the values that will bring us closer to peace and fulfillment.
-
Responsibility
We will become responsible for our own thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors (ie ‘triggers’). This doesn’t mean that we agree with the difficult things that happen to us in our lives, however we learn the practice of acceptance and responsibility/choice. This will require practice, practice, and more practice. We will learn how to have a more loving relationship with ourselves. We will become more patient and kind while we stumble along the path of growth.
-
Growth
We understand that growth is not linear and putting in the work is a choice that we consistently make every day. We begin to see how we are showing up in life and become more clear of our values. We also begin to practice new skills. We will see growth in moments, and backtrack in other moments. This is okay and part of the process. We embrace this new way of showing up for ourselves and the world around us.
